Our History

Hasan Trade began its journey in 1993 in Dhaka, focusing on importing and distributing machinery for the photographic industry. By 2000, it secured exclusive distributorships for global brands like Durst Photo Technic, Color Fly, and Prism Lab, while also introducing CISS technology in Bangladesh.

In 2008, the company entered the signage industry with FLORA digital printers and later expanded with ALLWIN, its own brand Y-Jet, and YUEMING laser machines. By 2014, Hasan Trade established itself in the textile and garment sector with digital textile printing and automatic oval screen-printing solutions.

Over the years, partnerships with ATEXCO, FANGYUAN, and others enabled the introduction of non-woven bag-making machines, T-shirt printing machines, and advanced textile solutions. In 2020, Hasan Trade became the sole distributor of NKT in Bangladesh, solidifying its leadership in the digital textile printing industry.

Sustainability

Potential for Eco-Innovation: Hasan Trade’s introduction of advanced machinery, such as digital textile printing and laser machines, suggests a move toward technologies that could reduce waste and energy consumption compared to traditional methods. For instance, digital printing often uses fewer resources (e.g., water and chemicals) than conventional screen printing, potentially contributing to environmental sustainability.

Industry Context: Bangladesh’s textile industry, a key sector for Hasan Trade, faces challenges like water contamination and high energy use. Studies highlight the need for eco-innovation in this sector, such as adopting green supply chain practices and renewable energy to mitigate environmental impacts. While Hasan Trade’s role in these practices is not explicitly documented, its focus on modern machinery could align with industry trends toward sustainability if these technologies prioritize energy efficiency or reduced emissions

Barriers to Sustainability: Research on Bangladesh’s textile sector identifies barriers to sustainable practices, including resistance to adopting innovative technologies, financial constraints, and lack of top management support. As a major player, Hasan Trade likely faces these challenges but may also be positioned to overcome them through its access to advanced technologies and global partnerships.

Innovation

Introduction of Advanced Machinery in Bangladesh Development of Proprietary Brand of Hasan Trade Partnerships with Global Brands with foreign buyers.

These efforts reflect Hasan Trade’s focus on technological advancement, enabling local industries to adopt modern, efficient machinery that aligns with global standards, thereby enhancing productivity and market competitiveness.

Hasan Trade’s innovation is evident in its consistent introduction of modern machinery and its development of the Y-Jet brand, which likely enhances efficiency and market adaptability. However, the lack of explicit information on sustainability initiatives—such as adopting renewable energy, reducing carbon emissions, or implementing green supply chain practices—suggests that sustainability may not be a primary focus or is underreported. Given the textile industry’s significant environmental footprint in Bangladesh (e.g., high water usage and chemical pollution), Hasan Trade could play a pivotal role in promoting sustainability by prioritizing eco-friendly technologies or advocating for green practices
